VOLTEX LIGHTING Voltex Lighting was formed in 2001, when Voltex (Pty) Ltd acquired the Lascon range of luminaires. Voltex Lighting was therefore the first specialized division to be formed in what was previously a dedicated wholesale operation. Voltex Lighting markets and distributes a complete range of commercial and industrial luminaires, but more importantly has established itself as a leading energy services company, using the latest energy saving technologies in electronic ballasts, lamps and lighting systems. Complete projects during the 2006 calendar year saved approximately 30 megawatts in power when compared to conventional systems.
WACO INDUSTRIES Waco Industries is a specialist division of the Voltex Group, Southern Africa's largest supplier of electrical products. Waco is the primary division in the group importing, exporting and distributing electrical products. These products are distributed under agreements with many of the world's leading electrical manufacturers such as G.E and Philips. Waco also has its own design and assembly facility to help with the improvements of older products or development of new products. Some of these have been well received internationally.
